Pondicherry is an Indian Union territory that was once a prominent part of the French Colony. A place that has its own natural beauty and the fact that it is home to various cultural and architectural marvels of the country makes it a must-visit place for every traveler.
Besides its intermixed culture, Pondicherry stands out with its picturesque beaches and landscapes as well. Mamallapuram, also known as Mahabalipuram, is best known for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of 7th- and 8th-century Hindu Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram. The site has 40 ancient monuments and Hindu temples, including Descent of the Ganges or Arjuna’s Penance – one of the largest open-air rock reliefs in the world.
Day 1: Bangalore to Pondicherry
- Start your overnight journey from Bangalore to Pondicherry.
- Enjoy your breakfast from there & Get ready for your journey.
- Overnight Journey through Tempo Traveller/ Mini Bus.
Day 2 : Pondicherry Sightseeing
- Reach Pondicherry in the Morning.
- Check-in,Freshn’up & Have scrumptious Breakfast
- Visit Eden Beach-Enjoy the coastal scenery.
- Aurobindo Ashram-The Aurobindo Ashram is a well-known spiritual and cultural
- PY Café & Restaurant-“PY” likely stands for Puducherry, and it might be a popular spot for locals and tourists to enjoy food and beverages.(Lunch Self-sponsered)
- Paradise Beach-It’s known for its beautiful golden sands and clear waters.
- Return to Hotel.
- Have your Dinner and rest for the Night.
Day 3: Pondicherry Sightseeing
- Wakeup, Get ready for the day
- Visit Rock-Beach for sunrise -The name “Rock Beach” comes from the boulders that line the shorelineThe tranquil atmosphere and beautiful views make it a favorite spot to start the day in Puducherry.
- French Colony-Puducherry has a rich colonial history, and the French Colony, also known as White Town, is a charming and picturesque neighborhood that reflects its French heritage.
- Have Your Breakfast & Chech out.
- Visit Auroville -Auroville’s main purpose is to be a universal town where people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds can live together in peace and harmony, transcending nationalities and promoting human unity. It is often referred to as “the city of dawn.”
- Have Lunch (Self Sponsered)
- Head towards Bangalore with Ocean-full of Memories.
Travel:
- Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push back seats).
- Note: This trip involves overnight journey on a push back Seater (Not sleeper or semi-sleeper).
- We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
- A comfortable and hygienic Vehicle for Sightseeing on all days as per the itinerary.

Stay:
- Accommodation in 3 star Hotel on double occupancy
Food:
- 2 Buffet Breakfasts (Day 2 and Day 3)
Things to carry:
- Toiletries, moisturiser, light towel, lip balm, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste
- A lightweight large Backpack for the trip (no suitcase, no trolley)
- A small backpack for water activities (to carry a water bottle, change clothes, towel, etc)
- Photo identity proof with address (Aadhar/Passport/Voter ID)
- Poncho or rainproof jacket with a hood (Not Mandatory)
- Shorts, T-shirt for water sports.
- Cap/Hat/Sunscreen (to avoid getting tanned bigtime)
- Sunglasses (to keep your eyes fresh)
- Power bank, charger, camera (if you wish to)
- Proper water bottle for your trip. You may fill at our campsite
- Disposable garbage covers (To separate used/unused, dry/wet clothes)
- Any kind of sandals or shoes are fine as there is no trek
- Your personal medications, if any
- Pair of water wear to take a dip in the river/sea
- Carrying a handwash/sanitizer/tissues will help during the trip
- Carry your jerkin/sweater — it can get cold at night as its close to the forest
- Carry a little bit of cash for Sunday lunch, dinner, and misc. expenses
- Don’t carry expensive items. You are responsible for your own belongings.
- No Hot water for shower

Remember Luxury and Experience won’t be together! This is an experience based event in which we will cover maximum Places in limited time! be prepared for a bit of long travels as we must travel to the places where they are.
Trek: Cancellation Policy
- No Cancellations/Refunds once the booking is done
- If cancellation is done before 15 days of the trip, we can issue a refund.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases we will try their best to provide an alternative feasible solution.
- However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
Payment Terms:
- 50% Advance at the time of Confirmation, Balance at the time of departure Advisory.
- Timings for meals will be specific which will be informed to you by the guide.
- Do not expect luxury as we will be travelling through pristine and untamed nature.
- Do pay heed to the guidelines given by the instructor.
- Do not expect separate accommodation as it is a group trip.
- Drop points will be the same as pickup points
- Bring your own mask and sanitizer.
- Adventurous trek/trip does NOT come with luxury, so please have the mindset accordingly
- Strictly follow the Reporting time, Program schedule and Instructions given by the Organizers through the entire duration of the program.
- Please don’t throw the plastic and garbage in the Forest
- Event Schedule, route and Plans are subject to change in case of any inconvenience that occurred at the time of tour without any prior intimation. Travellers have to adjust to any such consequence.
- Mapstop Adventures has all rights to modify or cancel the trekking event due to unavoidable circumstances.
