Kodaikanal is a picturesque hill station located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. The town is known for its beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and lush greenery. When you visit Kodaikanal, you can go on a boat ride on the Kodaikanal Lake, and take a walk through the pine forests. One of the must-visit attractions in Kodaikanal is the Coakers Walk, which is a scenic walking trail that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The trail is named after Lieutenant Coaker, who built the trail in 1872.
Another attraction in Kodaikanal is the Pillar Rocks, which are a set of three gigantic rock formations that rise to a height of over 400 feet. The rocks are located in a beautiful forest and are a popular spot for photography.
Day 1: Departure from Bangalore
- Your Kodaikanal tour package starts from Bangalore.
- Once you reach the campsite, check into your Homestay and freshen up.
Day 2 : Kodaikanal Sightseeing
- Reach Kodaikanal in the morning and proceed with the check-in formalities.
- Have your breakfast in the hotel and rest for a while.
- Later, head out to witness the wonders of this beautiful place.
- Later, take a stroll amidst Pine Forest and spend some relaxing time in the embrace of nature.
- After the refreshments, visit Guna Caves originally known as Devil’s Kitchen, these caves are caverns formed between the three boulders of the mountain.
- Proceed towards Green Valley and get enchanted by the valley viewpoint that offers a plethora of things such as souvenirs, ornaments, flowers, etc.
- Have your Lunch at around 2:00 PM
- Watch the splendid views of mountain chains with clouds rolling over them at Coaker’s Walk.
- After the refreshments, witness the beautiful star-shaped lake, Kodai Lake which adds exceptional beauty to the hill station. One can also indulge in boating, horse riding, and cycling by the lake with beautiful scenery all around.
- Head towards the hotel for an overnight stay.
- Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 3: Explore Vattakanal and return to bangalore
- Wake up with an amazing view of the surroundings from your hotel room and have your breakfast.
- Proceed with the check-in formalities and head back to Bangalore.
- On your way to Bangalore, visit Vattakanal Waterfalls, famous for its rich biodiversity and surrounded by trees, hills, and lush greenery all around
- Next, head towards Dolphin’s Nose Viewpoint which offers panoramic vistas of plunging valleys, rugged terrain, clear skies, and the splendor of green.
- Have your Lunch at around 2:00 PM.
- Next, visit the marvelous nature treasure of Silver Cascade Falls and enjoy fabulous gushy waterfall sightseeing. This waterfall is a perfect place for any nature lover with an impressive height of 180 ft.
- Head towards Bangalore with a bag full of memories.
Travel:
- AC Tempo Traveller (with push back seats).
- Note: This trip involves overnight journey on a push back Seater (Not sleeper or semi-sleeper).
- We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).

- 3 star Hotel with Twin sharing
- Each tent has a pillow & blanket (If u r not comfortable can carry own bedsheets)

Things to carry:
- Toiletries, moisturiser, light towel, lip balm, wet wipes, toothbrush, toothpaste
- A lightweight large Backpack for the trip (no suitcase, no trolley)
- A small backpack for water activities (to carry a water bottle, change clothes, towel, etc)
- Photo identity proof with address (Aadhar/Passport/Voter ID)
- Poncho or rainproof jacket with a hood (Not Mandatory)
- Shorts, T-shirt for water sports.
- Cap/Hat/Sunscreen (to avoid getting tanned bigtime)
- Sunglasses (to keep your eyes fresh)
- Power bank, charger, camera (if you wish to)
- Proper water bottle for your trip. You may fill at our campsite
- Disposable garbage covers (To separate used/unused, dry/wet clothes)
- Any kind of sandals or shoes are fine as there is no trek
- Your personal medications, if any
- Pair of water wear to take a dip in the river/sea
- Carrying a handwash/sanitizer/tissues will help during the trip
- Carry your jerkin/sweater — it can get cold at night as its close to the forest
- Carry a little bit of cash for Sunday lunch, dinner, and misc. expenses
- Don’t carry expensive items. You are responsible for your own belongings.
- No Hot water for shower

Remember Luxury and Experience won’t be together! This is an experience based event in which we will cover maximum Places in limited time! be prepared for a bit of long travels as we must travel to the places where they are.
Trek: Cancellation Policy
- No Cancellations/Refunds once the booking is done
- If cancellation is done before 15 days of the trip, we can issue a refund.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases we will try their best to provide an alternative feasible solution.
- However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
Payment Terms:
- 50% Advance at the time of Confirmation, Balance at the time of departure Advisory.
- Timings for meals will be specific which will be informed to you by the guide.
- Do not expect luxury as we will be travelling through pristine and untamed nature.
- Do pay heed to the guidelines given by the instructor.
- Do not expect separate accommodation as it is a group trip.
- Drop points will be the same as pickup points
- Bring your own mask and sanitizer.
- Adventurous trek/trip does NOT come with luxury, so please have the mindset accordingly
- Strictly follow the Reporting time, Program schedule and Instructions given by the Organizers through the entire duration of the program.
- Please don’t throw the plastic and garbage in the Forest
- Event Schedule, route and Plans are subject to change in case of any inconvenience that occurred at the time of tour without any prior intimation. Travellers have to adjust to any such consequence.
- Mapstop Adventures has all rights to modify or cancel the trekking event due to unavoidable circumstances.
